A league source tells us that the Cleveland Browns will be signing veteran cornerback Rod Hood. Per the source, it’s a one-year deal. (Technically, we’re “confirming” Tony Grossi’s report from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, since he beat us to the punch by 30 minutes or so. Grossi!) Hood was dumped by the Cardinals in the week after the draft, and he generated interest from several teams. Grossi points out (as we previously reported) that Hood received an offer from the Rams, even though others have tried to chacterize the move as not an offer.
