Bucs spend a little money

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have developed a reputation for being one of the cheapest franchises in the NFL, have spent a little money today.

They’ve inked third-round pick Roy Miller, a defensive tackle from Texas, to a contract.

It’s a four-year deal, which means that the Bucs had to fork over a larger signing bonus than if the contract covered only three seasons.

Miller was the 81st overall selection in the 2009 draft.
