Only 10 days removed from suffering a broken leg against the 49ers on Monday Night Football, Saints running back Reggie Bush is walking without crutches, and he has no cast on his leg.
Per a league source, Bush is walking with a “slight limp.” We’re told that he currently is ahead of his initial four-to-six-week estimated absence.
And that’s important for the Saints, given that in 31 days they’ll face the Steelers in a Halloween showdown on Sunday Night Football on NBC.
