The Chiefs activated outside linebacker Justin Houston a week ago, and it appears he’s going to be active this week.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid just told reporters that Houston was practicing today, which is a good sign.
Asked whether he expected Houston to play this week against the Buccaneers, Reid replied: “We’re heading in that direction.”
The Chiefs held him back last week against the Panthers, giving him more time to get back into the flow of things after last year’s torn ACL and subsequent surgery.
Houston said he expected to “dominate” once he returned to the field, which is not what Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston wants to hear.
