DeMarcus Ware returns to Broncos practice

A report from Jay Glazer of FOX Sports last weekend said that Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware would miss this week’s game against the Chargers as he continues to deal with a back injury.

No one has officially ruled Ware out for Week 13, however, and there was a positive development in his return to action on Wednesday. According to multiple reports from Broncos practice, Ware was on the field and taking part in the session for the first time since hurting his back against the Colts in Week Nine.

Getting Ware back would obviously be a boost to the Broncos defense, but they’ll likely remain cautious with moving him along the road back to action. Ware missed Week Six because of his back and returned for one full game and part of that Colts game before being forced out of the lineup again.

The Broncos didn’t have safety T.J. Ward or defensive tackle Sylvester Williams on the practice field and both are questionable at best for this weekend because of ankle injuries.
