Dion Jordan is back on the Dolphins’ active roster.
Jordan, the 2013 first-round pick who hasn’t played this year after failing a drug test in the offseason, has been added to the Dolphins’ active roster. The team made the move official today.
That means Jordan is eligible and will presumably make his 2014 debut on Sunday at Jacksonville. What remains to be seen is whether Jordan can become the kind of pass rusher the Dolphins thought he was when they gave up their first- and second-round picks to move up and draft him last year. Jordan was a disappointment as a rookie with just 2.0 sacks in 16 games.
To make room on the 53-man roster for Jordan, the Dolphins waived receiver Damian Williams.
