ESPN’s Emmitt Smith hasn’t done much to add to the vernacular this year. But on Thursday we’ll give thanks in part for yet another new entry to the language. Several readers have advised us that Emmitt coined the term “destinated” (or, possibly “destimated”) when attempting to discuss the impact of injuries on the Patriots. Why didn’t he just say, “The strength of the Patriots team got debacled”?
