Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune caught up with Percy Harvin after an autograph signing Saturday and had a few nuggets to report.
1. As the kiddies say, Harvin is getting swole. He’s added ten pounds of noticeable muscle in the offseason and is up to 207 pounds. He says he’ll play 5-7 pounds lighter.
2. Harvin can’t shake his migraines and probably won’t anytime soon. “It’s off and on,” Harvin said. “Still working them out. Hopefully we’ll keep working at it. My mom has had them for 30 years. They come here and there. It’s just something that hopefully I can contain. But I’ve talked to a lot of doctors. I don’t think there’s too much that can stop it.”
3. Harvin was non-committal about attending the team’s voluntary offseason conditioning program, which starts Monday: “I talked to coach. I’ll come up and workout a little bit. But we’ll talk and figure something out.”
