Vikings defensive end Jared Allen made his third visit to PFT Live on Wednesday, in advance of next month’s Night Ops III golf tournament, which benefits his Homes for Wounded Warriors charity.
Allen explained how he doubled his sack total from 11 in 2010 to 22 in 2011, whether he’ll double it again to 44 in 2012 (he said he’ll retire if he does), the Vikings’ chances of competing in a tough NFC North, and the team’s future in Minnesota.
He also explained the unique (to say the least) Night Ops golf event, which will feature all 18 holes played at night, with glow sticks and night-vision goggles and lighted balls and military men barking at golfers and forcing them to do push ups and a 280-foot slip ‘n’ slide.
