The Chiefs have kept another one of their own.
Defensive end Jaye Howard as re-signed with the Chiefs, per a league source. The 2012 fourth-round pick of the Seahawks agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $12 million. The contract includes $8.3 million guaranteed. (It’s unclear how much is guaranteed at signing.)
Howard appeared in all 32 regular-season games over the last two seasons in Kansas City, starting 23 times. He had 5.5 sacks in 2015.
