The Jets have announced all of the cuts to their roster to get down to the 53-man limit.
We’ve reported on some of these moves before, but in case you missed any posts on this furious day of roster moves we’ll list them all. The casualties are cornerback Rashad Barksdale, tight end Kevin Brock, tight end Kareem Brown, running back Jehuu Caulcrick, fullback Brock Christopher, safety Emannuel Cook, linebacker Kenwin Cummings, offensive lineman Stanley Daniels, wide receiver Britt Davis, kicker Parker Douglass, wide receiver Marcus Henry, running back Anthony Kimble, defensive lineman Matt Kroul, tackle Nevin McCasskill, tackle Ryan McKee, center Michael Parenton, defensive end Zach Potter, tight end Jack Simmons and defensive lineman Ty Steinkuhler.
Dustin Keller and Ben Hartsock are the only true tight ends, with James Dearth serving primarily as long snapper, on the 53-man roster. That might make the Jets a landing spot for a tight end who loses his job with one of the other 31 teams.
The Jets also placed wide receiver Aundrae Allison on injured reserve.
