The Jets appear be getting some targets back for quarterback Geno Smith.
Jets coach Rex Ryan just told reporters that wide receiver Santonio Holmes should be available when they play the Bills, after missing the past five games with a hamstring injury.
“I think he’ll play,” Ryan said of Holmes.
The Jets failed to reach the 200 passing yard plateau in four of the five games Holmes has missed.
The team also announced that tight end Kellen Winslow has been moved back to the active roster after his four-game suspension, and that safety Rontez Miles was released to make room for him.
Winslow was suspended for violating the league’s performance enhancing substances policy, which he blamed on allergy medicine.
