Looking at the best draft classes of all time

_NsnCSkhZeZb
Mike Florio and Chris Simms pick out the best NFL draft classes in league history.

It’s unclear whether this year’s draft class will or won’t be among the best or the worst. Opting (for a change) to revel in the positive, Thursday’s PFT Live included a draft of the very best draft classes in the history of the draft.

Simms and I agreed in advance that the 1983 draft class (headlined by three Hall of Fame quarterbacks in the first round) amounted to the best ever, which meant that whoever would win the (normally) rigged coin toss would win the draft. But one thing became clear in the process of picking strong draft classes: There have been plenty of them.

For the full list along with the explanations, check out the video generated by Thursday’s show. And be sure to tune in for Friday’s PFT Live, which includes another visit from Dan Katz a/k/a Big Cat, along with another chance for him to try to boast his way to a victory in whatever draft topic we decide to use for tomorrow’s show.
