The Tennessee Titans are scheduled to host USC linebacker Clay Matthews and wide receiver Patrick Turner in the next few days, according to Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper. Matthews, whose father is former Cleveland Browns linebacker Clay Matthews, has family ties to the Titans. Matthews’ uncle, Hall of Fame offensive lineman Bruce Matthews, played for the Titans/Houston Oilers. Among the other players confirmed as visiting Tennessee: Connor Barwin (Cincinnati), Andre Brown (North Carolina State), Sen’Derrick Marks (Auburn), Jason Williams (Western Illinois), and Lawrence Sidbury (Richmond). Meanwhile, McCormick and Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean have both reported today that free agent wide receiver Torry Holt is visiting the Titans this week. Also, McCormick writes that tight end Bo Scaife, the team’s franchise player, has yet to report for offseason workouts. As an unsigned franchise player, Scaife is not required to attend offseason workouts.
