Packers roll over Seahawks, but is Aaron Rodgers OK?

Things were going so well for the Packers that backup quarterback Brett Hundley played most of the fourth quarter.

Unless they weren’t.

While Green Bay’s 38-10 win over Seattle was impressive in its own right, it will quickly be overshadowed by questions about the condition of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The team termed his removal from the game a “coach’s decision,” but there appeared to be something wrong him throughout the second half. Whether it’s related to the hamstring injury which was on last week’s report or something else remains to be seen. But he was in his mystery tent during the game, before being pulled.

While he was in, he did plenty to secure a win which improved the Packers to 7-6. Rodgers was 18-of-23 for 246 yards and three touchdowns, with no interceptions. That 150.8 rating was nearly perfect, especially considering the opponent.

But the Seahawks (8-4-1) created some questions of their own, as they were strafed in their first full game without safety Earl Thomas (who was lost to a broken leg last week). The breakdowns were bigger than one player, but it did underscore his importance to a defense that needed to be counted on.

The Cardinals finish with home games against the Rams and Cardinals before finishing the season at San Francisco, so it’s not as if they’re not still going to win the NFC West. But their viability beyond that point came into question, with quarterback Russell Wilson playing poorly (five interceptions). His receivers contributed to at least two of those, but Wilson himself turned in a poor game in many respects.
