Demaryius Thomas got to do the honors.

But Peyton Manning brought the house down.

The Broncos quarterback just threw his third touchdown of the night, and the 509th of his career, as the Broncos took a 21-3 lead over the 49ers.

Thomas caught the third-and-goal pass and got his feet in, although it might have sparked a riot if they had replayed it.

Manning’s on the kind of roll tonight that extending the record seems entirely possible. He tried to keep everything at bay, but was clearly moved by the ovation and the moment of history he just created.
