13-year NFL veteran Vonnie Holliday will join a crowded group of defensive linemen in Washington, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Holliday played in Denver last year after four productive years in Miami. He has flexibility to play multiple positions on the line, but should be a defensive end in Washington’s new 3-4 front.
Longtime Redskin Philip Daniels underwent knee surgery in May, so Holliday may have been added to compete for Daniels’ snaps. Adam Carriker, Darrion Scott, and Greg Peterson have all been added to the mix during the offseason.
