The Redskins have added depth to their secondary with the acquisition of free agent E.J. Biggers.
A league source tells PFT that Biggers came to terms with the Redskins today.
Biggers was a 2009 seventh-round draft pick of the Buccaneers when Raheem Morris was the Bucs’ head coach. Morris is now the Redskins’ defensive backs coach, and Washington has been attempting to acquire players Morris has previously coached: The Redskins were also in the running for free agent cornerback Aqib Talib before Talib decided to return to New England.
Last season Biggers started 12 games for the Bucs.
