Report: Andrew Luck is “fully healthy” now

during their game at Bank of America Stadium on November 2, 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck’s struggles have been a frequent topic of conversation this season and his health has often played a role in those discussions.

Luck missed two games with a right shoulder injury and Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported last weekend that Luck also played through multiple rib fractures suffered in the third week of the regular season. That injury was never mentioned on the team’s injury reports, something that General Manager Ryan Grigson defended and that the NFL says they’ll look into as a possible violation of league rules.

Luck wouldn’t discuss his health after the team lost to the Panthers in overtime last Monday night, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the quarterback is now “fully healthy.” Rapoport adds that was the case during the loss to the Panthers in a game that saw the Colts do nothing on offense for most of the night before rallying in the final minutes to force the extra period.

The Colts were scuffling on offense even before Luck’s shoulder injury knocked him out of the lineup and his play against Carolina didn’t signal that all was well with his game if all is indeed well with his health. That’s not a great place to find yourself with a game against the Broncos coming up, although the Colts obviously think that changing offensive coordinators will make a positive difference in the unit’s production.
