The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with veteran free agent wide receiver Kelley Washington, according to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com. Per the report, which cited a source, Washington will sign a contract Friday upon successful completion of a physical. We’ve separately confirmed with Washington’s agent, Chad Speck, that Washington has verbally agreed to terms with the Ravens following an impressive tryout at last weekend’s minicamp. Washington is expected to sign a one-year contract. “He’s going to sign with Baltimore,” Speck said. “Kelley decided a few minutes ago. He views it as a great opportunity and a great organization. He’s excited to get started.” Washington is a former Cincinnati Bengals third-round draft pick who caught one pass last season for the New England Patriots, blocking a punt. In six NFL seasons, Washington has caught 73 career passes for 896 yards and nine touchdowns. The Ravens also tried out Jerry Porter and Tab Perry at their full-team, mandatory minicamp. “I’m just grateful for the Ravens to give me an opportunity to come and try out,” Washington said Sunday. “Just being a veteran, I want to get into a great situation. I want to play for a contending team. “It’s just going to be a situation where I sit down with my agent and see what’s the best situation for me and how I can get on the field and play some wide receiver, continue to help out on special teams and help them win. I’m big and I like to get in the middle and get dirty and just be a big, physical target. I think I can bring that to the team, but that’s up to management to determine.”
