Robert Saleh on Robbie Chosen: Any player with a fastball is worth exploring

Wide receiver Robbie Chosen lost his spot on the Dolphins roster Thursday and it sounds like one of his former employers might be interested in bringing him back.

Chosen started his NFL career with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and caught 207 passes for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns over four seasons with the team. On Friday, Jets head coach Robert Saleh sounded intrigued about the prospect of adding Chosen to the team’s wide receiver group.

“He has a fastball. Whenever a player has a fastball he’s worth exploring,” Saleh said, via Connor Hughes of SNY.

Chosen is a vested veteran, but all players are subject to waivers if they’re let go after the trade deadline so the Jets could have put in a claim for Chosen. News of any claims will come on Friday afternoon, so it won’t be long before we know if a reunion is in store.
