Start the panic now.
A week after proving to everyone he wasn’t yet too old to play quarterback, Tom Brady has now injured his ankle.
According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Brady was limited in practice today, and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
That’s the extent of the known information, but barring an amputation that we haven’t heard about, we can’t imagine it being so bad he won’t play.
Also, center Bryan Stork was held out of practice, and his head injury was disclosed as a concussion, meaning he’ll have to be cleared by an independent neurologist before he can return. That will add another wrinkle to the Patriots’ offensive line, which was far from stable previously.
