WARE, BARBER HURT AS COWBOYS WIN

The Dallas Cowboys dominated the Seattle Seahawks in the middle game of the NFL’s Thanksgiving tripleheader. But not all the news was good for the Cowboys, as two of their top players suffered injuries. Running back Marion Barber left the game with what is initially being described as a bruised foot. And outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware suffered what is being referred to as a sprained knee. It’s too soon to say how much, if any, playing time Barber and Ware will miss, but if they’re out for a significant period of time, that would seriously hurt the Cowboys’ chances of making the playoffs. Today’s win improved the Cowboys to 8-4, half a game ahead of the Redskins and Falcons for the final NFC wild card spot.
