The Rams were cagey about whether wide receiver Wes Welker would be in the lineup against the Bears after spending his first few days with the team this week, but we got our answer on Sunday morning.
Welker is active for the game, which doesn’t come as a great surprise given the absence of suspended wideout Stedman Bailey and the need for something positive out of a passing game that hasn’t been impressive this season. Coach Jeff Fisher said during the week that the team would have “some things in the offense for him” Welker if he’s in the lineup, so we should see a few balls thrown his way over the course of the afternoon.
The Rams will also have defensive end Robert Quinn back on the field after he missed last week’s loss to the Vikings with a knee injury. Quinn was listed as questionable on Friday, but feels well enough to try to chase down Jay Cutler.
Tackle Rob Havenstein and safety T.J. McDonald join Quinn in returns to the lineup after sitting out in Week Nine.
