Titans CB Reynaldo Hill is fully recovered from the groin surgery he underwent this winter.
Hill, a seventh-round pick who was impressive as a rookie last season, will remain starting opposite Pacman Jones in 2006.
  • TEN Defensive Back
Reynaldo Hill, Rich Gardner, Damien Nash, Daniel Loper, David Stewart, Gregg Guenther, Roydell Williams and Bo Schobel are inactive for week two.
Pacman Jones will make his debut against Baltimore.

  • TEN Defensive Back
Titans signed CB Reynaldo Hill, a seventh-round pick, to a three-year contract.
The Florida product will make minimum salaries of $230,000 in 2005, $310,000 in ’06, $385,000 in ’07 and a signing bonus of $43,250.
  • TEN Defensive Back
Titans cornerback Reynaldo Hill claims he played most of last season through a torn meniscus in his knee and torn ligaments in his ankle.
“I just had to suck it up and be a man,” he says. “This is the NFL.” Hill had arthroscopic surgery on the knee but rehabbed the ankle on its own. He faces a stiff challenge from first-round pick Michael Griffin for his starting job.
  • TEN Defensive Back
With the emergence of Michael Griffin and Cortland Finnegan, Reynaldo Hill seems to be the odd man out of the Titans’ starting lineup.
He’s not worthy of a selection in IDP leagues.
  • TEN Defensive Back
    Titans released CB Kelly Herndon.
Herndon, 31, would’ve cost $1.4 million to keep. It appears Eric King, Reynaldo Hill, and possibly a rookie will battle for nickel duties in camp.
  • NE Defensive Back
Titans signed restricted free agent DBs Vincent Fuller and Reynaldo Hill to one-year, $927,000 contracts.
Fuller appeared to be a promising prospect coming out of Virginia Tech in 2005, but hasn’t developed into more than a special teamer. Hill is currently the Titans’ third corner, but will be pushed for that role by Chris Carr.
  • NE Defensive Back
Vincent Fuller is the favorite to be the Titans’ nickel back this season.
It appears Reynaldo Hill, Eric King, and Chris Carr are on the outside looking in. Playing through a dislocated shoulder in 2007, Fuller made 30 tackles and picked off two passes. He is also free safety Michael Griffin’s top backup.
  • TEN Defensive Back
The Titans extended restricted free agent CB Reynaldo Hill a low tender.
Hill played a lot as a rookie, but is best suited as a dime back and special teamer. The 2005 seventh-round pick had 19 stops and one INT in 2007.
