  • FA Defensive End #51

Mostly a special teamer, Malone played 327 defensive snaps during his four-year rookie contract with the Falcons — 216 of them came in his rookie season. He’ll compete for a roster spot if he lands in Tampa Bay.
  • TB Quarterback #6
Mayfield is in the final year of his three-year, $100 million extension signed in 2024 and has a $39.975 million cap figure. His play down the stretch was rough, but he also was clearly laboring through injuries. Mayfield, entering his age-31 season, is probably destined for an interesting negotiation as a quarterback who clearly isn’t in line with the league’s elite, but also a quarterback who deserves a premium contract compared to the league’s stop-gaps and bounce back candidates.
  • TB Linebacker #56
Rozeboom totaled 122 tackles for the Panthers last season and started all 15 games he appeared in. The veteran linebacker has started 26 games over the last two seasons after being used primarily as a backup for the first three years of his career, and he becomes the second veteran linebacker to join the Buccaneers this offseason. Lavonte David, who is mulling retirement, could still return to play for the Bucs this season, but the team continues to strengthen it’s linebacking corps in the event David should choose to walk away from the game.
  • PHI Safety #39
The Eagles signed former Buccaneers safety and special teams player J.T. Gray as well. Both players are on one-year deals. Epps logged 250 defensive snaps and 121 special teams snaps while totaling 18 solo tackles and two TFLs last year. Gray played on 83 special teams snaps playing for the Broncos and Buccaneers last year. Epps can be expected to contribute defensively, but Gray’s ticket to the active roster is likely via special teams.
  • NE Defensive Back #22
Vildor appeared in 12 games for the Bucs last year. He broke up three passes and intercepted one. A certified journeyman at this point in his career, he profiles as a backup for the Pats.
  • Feeney joined the Bucs on a one-year contract last offseason. The veteran lineman wound up starting 10 games at right guard for them, earning a PFF blocking grade of 54.2 while allowing 21 pressures and four sacks. Feeney has 75 games of starting experience on his resumé and can fill in at either guard spot if needed next season.
  • MIA OFFENSIVE TACKLE (SUB) #77
Heck is a six-year veteran of the league who has 29 games of starting experience under his belt. In his lone season with the Buccaneers, Heck started six of the 17 games he appeared in, with all of his starts coming at right tackle. He earned a PFF grade of 45.2 last season while allowing 32 pressures and three sacks.
  • TB Tackle #67
The Bucs converted $20 million of Goedeke’s roster bonus into a signing bonus to clear $15.2 million in cap space for 2026. The fourth-year lineman signed a four-year, $90 million contract extension last offseason and appeared in 11 games last season after a foot injury sidelined him for multiple weeks. Goedeke earned a PFF blocking grade of 75.8 last season and did not allow a sack despite giving up 22 pressures.
  • TB Tight End #41
The phrasing suggests Kieft still has to sign on the dotted line, but the news comes straight from a post on Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht’s social media account and includes an image of Kieft dressed as a pirate, piloting a ship. The image may be the most exciting part of Kieft’s 2026 season—he failed to a target over the last two years—but we are happy for him nonetheless. The veteran tight end also suffered a season-ending leg fracture in Week 3 last year. Kieft should not be drafted in fantasy.
  • TB Defensive End #96
Muhammad racked up 51 quarterback pressures and 12 sacks last season, ranking second among Lions defenders in both categories. Both figures are career highs. Muhammad turns 31 later this month. He can earn up to $6 million. The Buccaneers have signed multiple front-seven defenders in free agency.
