Sochi Olympic bobsledder from Russia dies in car crash

Nikolay Khrenkov, a 2014 Russian Olympic bobsledder, died in a car accident Monday, the Russian Ministry of Sport said.

Khrenkov, 29, was a push athlete on the Russia-3 four-man bobsled that finished 15th in Sochi.

Khrenkov, like many U.S. bobsledders, was also an accomplished track and field athlete.
