The U.S. women’s volleyball team will clinch an Olympic berth if it beats the Dominican Republic, live on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.
The U.S. is the reigning World champion and ranked No. 1 in the world.
It swept Canada on Thursday and beat Puerto Rico in four sets on Friday in its first two matches of a North American Olympic qualifying tournament in Lincoln, Neb. The winner of the four-team, round-robin event earns a berth in the 12-team Olympic field.
If the Dominican Republic, also 2-0 in Lincoln and ranked No. 7 in the world, beats the U.S., the Americans can still qualify for Rio in a spring tournament.
