Sarah Hendrickson, Jessica Jerome and Lindsey Van became the first-ever American female ski jumpers in Olympic competition with tonight’s debut for women’s ski jumping. And the trio had plenty of support from their fellow U.S. Olympic Team members.
Among those that cheered for them in person tonight at RusSki Gorki Jumping Center were members of the “Wolfpack” - the U.S. women’s bobsled team.
Aja Evans and Lolo Jones put up these posts during the competition...

Watching on television, along with some of her teammates, was U.S. cross-country skier Jessie Diggins.

And Bill Demong, the defending Olympic Nordic combined champion in 10km individual large hill, also wished the ski jumpers luck.
