Louisiana sophomore WR Peter Leblanc (undisclosed) is back on the team’s depth chart against Appalachian State on Friday.
LeBlanc (6'2/190) has played in every game besides Louisiana’s 70-20 blowout of ULM last Saturday. He still leads the Ragin’ Cajuns in receiving with 23 receptions, 334 yards and a touchdown. He was apparently caught up in UL’s COVID-19 breakout that caused their game against Central Arkansas to be cancelled two weeks ago. The sophomore wideout is expected to play in UL’s huge Sun Belt Conference tilt at Appalachian State this Friday.

Louisiana sophomore WR Peter LeBlanc (undisclosed) is not listed on the team’s latest depth chart.
LeBlanc (6'2/190) has played in every game thus far and leads the Ragin’ Cajuns in receiving with 23 receptions, 334 yards and a touchdown. Louisiana’s last game against Central Arkansas was cancelled due to COVID-19 related issues within the program, so it’s entirely possible the sophomore wideout was one of the players affected by the recent outbreak. If LeBlanc is unable to suit up, Jalen Williams and Kyren Lacy will see increased targets this Saturday against ULM.

  • FA Wide Receiver #82
Louisiana sophomore WR Peter LeBlanc (undisclosed) is dealing with an injury.
LeBlanc (6'2/190) led UL in receiving in their last game, catching three passes for 64 yards in a 20-18 victory over Georgia Southern. The sophomore receiver has been Levi Lewis’ favorite target this season, hauling in 12 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown in three games He left the game in the second half and did not return, so it remains to be seen if this injury will cause him to miss next Wednesday’s prime-time game against Appalachian State.

  • FA Wide Receiver #82
Louisiana sophomore WR Peter LeBlanc caught five passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 31-14 win over Iowa State.
LeBlanc (6'2/190) racked up most of his yardage on one long, crucial grab. With time winding down in the third quarter, he hauled in a gorgeous 78-yard touchdown pass from QB Levi Lewis, one which saw a perfect pass connect on a perfectly run route. Just delightful. That score bumped Iowa State up to a 17-14 advantage. They would not trail again in the contest. Last season, LeBlanc logged a 28-344-4 receiving line. He’s one of a number of offensive weapons at the disposal of HC Billy Napier, who has one of the best rosters in the Group of Five with which to work. Louisiana will match up with Georgia State next weekend.

  • FA Wide Receiver #82
Louisiana freshman WR Peter LeBlanc earned three receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 45-38 loss to Appalachian State in the Sun Belt Championship Game.
LeBlanc entered Saturday with just 218 yards and two touchdowns on the season. In one game, the conference title match no less, LeBlanc picked up more than half his previous yardage total and matched his touchdown total. After Saturday’s stellar performance in the title game, look for him to make an impact in the team’s bowl game in a couple of weeks. Louisiana will face off with a team from the MAC, AAC, or MWC.
