STAMFORD, Conn. – April 27, 2022 – The Mexico Open at Vidanta makes its debut on the PGA TOUR at Vidanta Vallarta in Mexico and the LPGA Tour’s Palos Verdes Championship at Palos Verdes Golf Club in California headline NBC Sports’ live golf coverage across GOLF Channel this week.
Live coverage on GOLF Channel also includes the PGA TOUR Champions’ Insperity Invitational in Texas and the DP World Tour’s Catalunya Championship in Spain this week.
PGA TOUR: MEXICO OPEN AT VIDANTA
The Mexico Open at Vidanta makes its debut as an official event on the PGA TOUR this week from Vidanta Vallarta in Mexico. The tournament, which has been held annually since the 1940s, marks the second PGA TOUR event in Mexico, joining the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.
Live early-round coverage on Thursday and Friday will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET and lead-in coverage on the weekend begins at 1 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel.

The LPGA Tour plays the second of two consecutive events in the Los Angeles area this week with the Palos Verdes Championship from Palos Verdes Golf Club. Anna Davis, the winner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur earlier this month, will play after earning a sponsor exemption into the event.
GOLF Channel will present live coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday and 6 p.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday.
