The stage is set for a massive Sunday in Germany after Saturday’s results kept the doors open near the bottom and top of the table.

Sunday’s matches see Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt trying to climb out of the drop zone despite top end opposition in Borussia Monchengladbach and Mainz.

Before we get to any of that, how about a hand for Christian Pulisic? The 17-year-old USMNT player has now scored twice in as many Bundesliga games after burying a rebound against Stuttgart (Watch here) in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-0 win.

Hertha Berlin 0-2 Bayern Munich

The table leaders also won, but their three points might be trumped as a story line by Hertha’s failure to strengthen its Top Four hopes. Arturo Vidal and Douglas Costa scored for Bayern, which leads BVB by 7 points.

Ingolstadt 2-2 Hannover
The visitors came back to get a moral victory in this draw, after Moritz Hartmann and USMNT midfielder Alfredo Morales staked the hosts to a 2-0 lead by the 26th minute. Hannover’s Japanese duo of Hiroki Sakai and Hiroshi Kiyotake scored second-half goals to snag a point for the relegation-bound side.

Morales’ goal was his first Bundesliga tally after 29 games in the Germany’s top flight for the American defensive midfielder.

Schalke 2-3 Bayer LeverkusenWhy is it that big comebacks all seem to hit on the same day. First Liverpool-Newcastle and Ingolstadt-Hannover, and the coup de grace came when Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez put home a 60th minute winner to complete Bayer’s comeback from a 2-0 deficit at Schalke. The three Bayer goals came in 7 minutes, with Julian Brandt and Karim Bellarabi also scored.

What a comeback! Chicharito gives Leverkusen a third goal in quick succession. Down 0-2, they now lead Schalke, 3-2! https://t.co/2yrOqPrADH
