The game in 100 words (or less): End-to-end, attacking soccer at its finest. That’s what these teams do, and they did plenty of it Saturday night en route to the Vancouver Whitecaps’ 3-0 victory over FC Dallas at BC Place. The theme of MLS forever and ever is parity (read: there are no good teams; just a lot of really, really average ones), which means the 9th-place team in the Western Conference hammering the Supporters’ Shield race-leading (and favorites?) team is absolutely no big deal whatsoever. Business as usual in MLS, you may now return to your (equally average) everyday lives. Kekuta Manneh scored a typical Kekuta Manneh goal, which served as a fresh reminder he’ll be USMNT-eligible in the not-so-distant future. Finally, Jurgen Klinsmann’s search for a left back is over. The win sees Vancouver climb two spots in the West, up to 7th, while FCD stay top of the conference thanks to a similar thrashing suffered by Real Salt Lake.

Three moments that mattered
35' — Figueroa scores a hilarious own goal — Chris Seitz did fairly well to come out and palm away this Kekuta Manneh cross. Unfortunately for them, though, he parried off of Maynor Figueroa, who was closing in quickly and bundled the ball over his own goal line.
63' — Harvey sweeps it home from a corner kick — If you don’t clear the ball out of the box on set pieces, you’re going to pay for it. FCD didn’t, and did.

77' — Manneh gets in behind, makes it 3-0 — Kekuta Manneh is fast. You should not let him get in behind your defense. FCD let him get in behind of their defense, and there was nothing anyone could do.
