Pique, Enrique still confident in Barca’s title chances despite swoon

Barcelona’s form has been poor, but its players and coach want you to know this is still Barcelona.

Despite dropping into a first-place tie on points with Atletico Madrid and holding just a one-point advantage on Real, Luis Enrique and Gerard Pique both think the club is going to be just fine when it comes to La Liga.

That’s because Pique and others feel Barca was unlucky not to rebound from the 2-0 deficit it carved out, only scoring once in the second half despite a bevy of chances.

From the BBC:

“If we play like this we’ll win the league, I’m convinced of that,” added Spain centre-back Pique.

“Although it’s a step backwards, playing this well will help the team mentally. We’ve recovered the sensations from a month ago.”

For his part, Enrique said the team’s play in the second half would’ve been enough to win almost any game it played, and that it doesn’t fit in with their recent slump that includes losses to Atleti and Real.

What say you, Barca supporters? Worried? What’s the fix?
