All the good vibes surrounding Jurgen Klopp’s arrival at Liverpool remain for the long-term, but the short-term took a serious blow on Thursday.
Danny Ings and Joe Gomez have both suffering ligament injuries, and are set to miss the rest of the season for the Reds.

Both have ACL injuries, and Liverpool confirmed Gomez’s injury on its web site. Several outlets, including the BBC, are reporting Ings’ injury.
The 23-year-old Ings has three goals in eight appearances for Liverpool. He netted 11 times for Burnley in the Premier League last year after scoring 26 in the Championship a year before.
Gomez was injured representing England’s U-21 side, while Ings was reportedly hurt in Klopp’s first training session as Liverpool boss.
