First and foremost, can we take a moment to appreciate Mauricio Pochettino’s glorious hair in the photo above from his playing days in France? Hashtag flow.

Tottenham Hotspur is headed to the Champions League next season, and still has a very slim chance at winning the Premier League this year.

Yet that hasn’t stopped its mastermind, manager Pochettino, from discussing the future; Could that be away from White Hart Lane?

The 44-year-old Argentine played for Paris Saint-Germain as part of a 17-year career as a defender for clubs like Newell’s Old Boys, Espanyol and Bordeaux, then going on to mastermind the rise of Southampton after cutting his managerial teeth at Espanyol.

So could he be on the move again? PSG boss Laurent Blanc has been linked to Manchester United and his job status hasn’t been safe -- at least in the rumor mill -- for more than a year.

From Sky Sports:

“I’ve always said that I would be pleased to join a great club like PSG,” Pochettino told French radio station RMC. “Come to Paris? I hope so. It is true that it would please me. It’s part of my dreams. I try to watch all their matches, especially in the Champions League.

“The [French] championship is not very attractive because PSG is far from the other teams but I look a lot because it is a major source of players. There is talent so I have to follow Ligue 1.”

As for the Blanc to Old Trafford rumors, that is seemingly just a big part of the gossip mill (especially with Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils in the FA Cup final and competing for the Premier League’s Top Four while Jose Mourinho takeover rumors continually lurk in the wings).

And it’s curious that Pochettino would say such thing, even given the transitory nature of club management and a polite need to appease his fans in France. Is it anything more than the latter?
