The Knicks and Hawks meet up for Game 2 tonight with the Hawks up 1-0. Madison Square Garden will be rocking yet again as the home team looks to tie up the series.

Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks (-2) Total: 212.5

Trae Young may not wear a bloody sock tonight but he has definitely drawn the ire of New York sports fans. This should make for a very exciting Game 2 tonight at the World’s Most Famous Arena.

It is obvious that Atlanta has a more talented roster than the Knicks, but then again, most teams in the league have a more talented roster than the Knicks. The Knicks win games with defense and grit. They just play harder than their opponents, but they will need a max effort tonight to tie the series up.

PointsBet had this series priced at -110 on both sides before the series started. With Game 1 going to the Hawks they are now a -250 favorite to win the series. The Knicks opened up as a 2.5 point favorite for Game 2, PointsBet currently has that number at -2. The Total opened up at 213.5 and is now sitting at 212.5 at most shops.

PointsBet is reporting a whopping 81% of the bets and 90% of the handle backing the Knicks -2. I like the Knicks to win this game, but would never back such a public play. I do find it interesting that the Knicks are -131 on the money line, however, and some shops have the Knicks as high as -140. This makes me think the Knicks will win a one-possession game.

The Over in this game is being heavily bet at PointsBet with 77% of bettors backing the Over, but there does appear to be some sharp money hitting the Under. I think the Under is the side to back in this game, as the Knicks will lead with their defense in a must-win Game 2.

Edge Finder Tip: The Knicks are 10-8 to the Under at home since the All-Star break.

Edge: Under 212.5
