Francisco Lindor (calf) went 0-for-4 with a stolen base on Sunday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Syracuse.
Lindor reached on a fielder’s choice and stole second base before coming around to score on Tyrone Taylor’s single in the fifth inning of his first rehab contest. The 32-year-old franchise cornerstone played all nine innings at shortstop in his second rehab contest. He’s been working his way back from a calf strain since late April and figures to be ready to return to New York’s lineup at some point this week.
