He probably won’t become the Angels’ closer, but he could continue to be mixed in when lefties are due up in the ninth.

Rodriguez allowed five hits and a walk and struck out four. The right-hander will assuredly need at least one more rehab outings before coming back, but assuming all checked out well Sunday and there’s no setbacks after that next outing, he could be back with the Angels around the All-Star break.

Keller gave the Pirates one more scoreless frame, ending his day after six with four strikeouts. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 4.87 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 73/33 K/BB ratio across 94 1/3 innings into a road start against the Nationals on Friday.
