Corey Seager went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored on Friday against the Astros.
This was Seager’s first game off the injured list following a month-long bout with lower back inflammation. He showed no signs of rust when he smacked a single in his first plate appearance and smoked a double that nearly left the yard later on. His .189 batting average and .681 OPS so far this season are sure to rise as long as he stays on the field.
