Fernando Tatis Jr. homered twice and robbed Francisco Lindor of a grand slam Tuesday in the Padres’ 5-2 win over the Mets.

Tatis hit a 452-foot homer off Zac Thornton on the very first pitch of the game, went over the wall in right to take away a slam from Lindor in the second and then added a 379-foot, two-run homer in the fifth. It’s rather absurd now to remember how Tatis went the first 55 games of the year without a homer. He has 15 in 70 games since.

Fernando Tatis Jr. homered, walked and scored twice Tuesday against the Brewers.

The homer was his 164th, overtaking Nate Colbert’s total that long stood as the Padres’ franchise record before Manny Machado broke it two years ago. Machado is now at 217 in his eighth year with the Padres, and with both signed well into the next decade, Tatis seems destined to remain in second place for the next several seasons.

Fernando Tatis Jr. had a three-run homer and a double to power the Padres past the Astros 7-2 on Sunday Night Baseball.

After grounding out in his first at-bat, Tatis only barely missed in his second, hitting a 359-foot flyout. After that came the 421-foot homer and 386-foot double. He has three homers in five games. Since finally delivering his first homer on May 30, he’s hit .294/.347/.506 with 11 homers in 62 games.

It looks to be just a routine day of rest for the 27-year-old superstar. Gavin Sheets will start in his place in right field and bat seventh against Giants’ right-hander Landen Roupp on Sunday afternoon in San Diego.

Fernando Tatis Jr. went 5-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in San Diego’s 8-7 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Tatis had come into this game hitless over his last three games. He made up for it against the Rockies, collecting hits in all five of his plate appearances while driving in two runs and crossing home once. The 27-year-old star is slashing .285/.353/.400 with eight homers, 54 runs scored, 49 RBI, and 25 steals across 469 plate appearances.

Tonight’s checked in at 474 feet off JR Ritchie. Tatis has three homers in four games and is now up to eight for the year after going his first 55 games without one. He finished tonight with a .752 OPS, his highest mark after any game this season.

Tatis’s homer was hit 107.6 mph off Matt Strahm in the sixth. He’s gone deep in back-to-back games and is up to seven homers on the year after going his first 55 games without one.

Fernando Tatis Jr. hit two solo homers, but the Padres fell to the Cubs on Tuesday.

Tatis took Matthew Boyd deep in the first inning, and Javier Assad left one over the plate to the 27-year-old seven innings later. The power results are starting to show up for Tatis after a disastrous — from a homer perspective, anyway — start to the season, and he’s up to five after having just one coming into the month of June. Expect that roundtripper total to increase rapidly in the second half of 2026.

Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in a 7-6 win over the Braves on Tuesday.

Tatis doubled on a 104.2 mph line drive in the second inning to bring one run home, then scored on a base hit. Leading off the seventh, he sent a fastball 410 feet over the center field wall for a solo homer off Carlos Carrasco. For as hard as Tatis hits the ball, it was only his third home run of the season. He’s slashing .286/.348/.370 with 34 runs scored, 28 RBI, and 18 steals across 334 plate appearances.
