Daz Cameron went 2-for-5 and hit his first homer Thursday in the Blue Jays’ 5-1 win over the Rays.
His blast off Ian Seymour was projected at 442 feet. Cameron, who opened this year in Korea before signing a minor league deal with the Jays last month, is 4-for-11 with two extra-base hits since being called up as Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s replacement on Saturday. He still might be the choice to go when Guerrero returns, unless maybe Brett Bateman requires an IL stint.
