Jung Hoo Lee went 2-for-3 and drove in the Giants’ lone run as they dropped the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader to the Diamondbacks.
Lee finally got the Giants on the board with an RBI single in the eighth inning, trimming their deficit to 5-1. He also drew a walk in the contest, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. On the season, the 28-year-old outfielder is now slashing .291/.331/.424 with nine homers, 48 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 501 plate appearances.
