Adael Amador went 1-for-4 and belted a solo home run on Sunday, accounting for the Rockies’ only run in a lopsided loss to the Tigers.
Amador got his club on the board first with a 394-foot (102.3-mph) solo shot off of Jackson Jobe in the top half of the first inning. That would be the extent of their offense. It was also Amador’s only hit in four at-bats. For the season, the 23-year-old is now slashing .326/.404/.652 with four homers and 12 RBI in his first 52 plate appearances with the Rockies.
