Maikel Garcia went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in the Royals’ 2-0 win over the White Sox on Saturday.
Garcia was responsible for both of Kansas City’s runs in their win against the White Sox, starting with a solo homer off Erick Fedde on the first pitch of the game. He later doubled in the eighth and scored an insurance run on a sacrifice fly. The 26-year-old third baseman is off to a hot start at the plate, slashing .328/.394/.517 with two homers, nine runs scored, eight RBI, and one steal across 66 plate appearances.
