The Indians’ official website reports that the team has traded infielder Ryan Mulhern and RHP Dan Reichert to the Pirates for cash.
Mulhern has disappointed since being named the Minor League Player of the Year in 2005. He looks like a Triple-A player. Reichert was playing in independent ball two months ago, and went 1-3 with a 4.40 ERA for Triple-A Buffalo.

Alec Bohm is at third base and batting eighth on Saturday against the Diamondbacks.
Bohm has gotten off to a rough start and will drop even lower in Philadelphia’s lineup after hitting eighth on Friday night. The 29-year-old infielder is batting .170 (8-for-47) with one homer and eight RBI through 12 games.
'No one can touch' Miller right now
James Schiano outlines just how impressive Mason Miller has been for the Padres.
  • AZ Catcher #14
Gabriel Moreno (back) is out of the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Phillies.
No surprise here with an early-afternoon contest on tap after Moreno was pulled from Friday’s game with lower back soreness. It’ll be Adrian Del Castillo handling the catching duties in his absence.
  • AZ Right Fielder #7
Corbin Carroll (hip) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Phillies.
Carroll returns to Arizona’s lineup at DH following a two-game absence due to left hip soreness. It’s an extremely encouraging development for the Diamondbacks, and fantasy managers, that the issue hasn’t required a trip to the injured list. The 25-year-old fantasy superstar is off to an excellent start at the dish, slashing .333/.408/.690 with eight extra-base hits, including two homers, 11 RBI and one steal through 12 games.
  • MIN Center Fielder #5
Twins recalled INF/OF Ryan Kreidler from Triple-A St. Paul.
Kreidler’s defensive versatility gives him some appeal with Minnesota in a bench role as they attempt to replace third baseman Royce Lewis for at least a couple weeks. The 28-year-old utility specialist has batted .138 (26-for-188) with two homers and seven steals in 89 games at the highest level since 2022.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #78
Twins recalled RHP Andrew Morris from Triple-A St. Paul.
Morris will be making his big-league debut when he gets into a game. The 24-year-old, who posted a serviceable 4.09 ERA and 89/29 K/BB ratio across 94 2/3 innings at the Triple-A level last year. receives his first call up to fill a spot in Minnesota’s bullpen.
  • MIN 3rd Baseman #23
Twins placed 3B Royce Lewis on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 10, with a left knee sprain.
Lewis has been unable to shake the injury bug throughout his professional career and heads back to the shelf after suffering a knee sprain during his final at-bat of Thursday’s series opener against the Tigers. The 26-year-old third baseman is hitting .222 (8-for-36) with two homers, eight RBI and two steals through 12 games. There’s no timetable for his return but the Twins are likely to handle the situation with an abundance of caution since Lewis underwent left knee surgery back in 2024.
  • MIN Relief Pitcher #66
Twins placed RHP Cody Laweryson on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to April 9, with a right forearm strain.
Laweryson figures to be facing an extended absence since forearm issues tend to be extremely problematic and are often precursors to more serious elbow issues. The Twins aren’t going to rush him back. The 27-year-old reliever was off to a nice start with a respectable 4.26 ERA and 8/2 K/BB ratio across 6 1/3 innings of work.
  • TEX Left Fielder #36
Wyatt Langford will undergo an MRI after being removed from Friday’s game against the Dodgers with right quad tightness.
Langford will undergo imaging to determine the severity of the injury, and whether he’ll require a trip to the injured list, after making an early exit from Friday’s slugfest against the Dodgers. The 24-year-old fantasy standout took hard-throwing Tyler Glasnow deep in the fifth inning for his first round-tripper of the season prior to departing. He expressed optimism while speaking to reporters following the contest, saying that he believes the issue to be minor. There should be a definitive update on his status at some point this weekend.
  • MIA Left Fielder #28
Kyle Stowers (hamstring) went 0-for-3 on Friday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Jacksonville.
Stowers started in left field and struck out twice in three plate appearances as he works his way back from a hamstring injury that he suffered at the tail-end of spring training. Griffin Conine’s recent injury probably extinguishes the possibility that he’ll play first base at all in the near future since the Marlins could use him back in their outfield mix. The 28-year-old should be ready to make his season debut at some point next week once he gets fully back up to speed.
  • MIA Starting Pitcher #93
Marlins LHP prospect Robby Snelling recorded 12 strikeouts over five scoreless innings on Friday for Triple-A Jacksonville.
Snelling scattered a pair of hits and four walks, needing 94 pitches (57 strikes) to post his first double-digit strikeout effort of the year. The 22-year-old southpaw has solved the serious command issues the plagued him earlier in his development and has emerged as one of the top pitching prospects in the fantasy landscape. He holds a strong 2.77 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 22/8 K/BB ratio across 13 innings over three starts this season on the doorstep of the majors. There aren’t a ton of obstacles to a spot in Miami’s rotation and Snelling figures to get his opportunity at some point around midseason, if not sooner.
