The 34-year-old Cuban native, who last appeared in the majors in 2016, will likely open the 2022 season at Triple-A Rochester as organizational outfield depth.

Miller and Castillo will work in tandem instead of Seattle shifting to a six-man rotation. It’s going to look and feel a bit different, but this type of arrangement makes the most sense for the Mariners moving forward. The 31-year-old lefty is on track to begin a minor league rehab assignment later this week and could return to Arizona’s high-leverage mix at some point next month. He’s a name to watch in deeper mixed leagues, especially if his velocity and stuff are back to pre-surgery levels during rehab outings.

The 25-year-old outfielder has been a colossal disappointment this season, hitting .183/.227/.305 with one homer, 10 RBI and two steals in 88 plate appearances over 30 games. The most alarming part is that he’s striking out less than ever before, but his quality of contact and underlying batted ball metrics have been utterly abysmal this season.

Agnos holds a lackluster 5.59 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 20/10 K/BB ratio across 29 innings over 13 appearances for the Rockies this season. He’ll operate in low-leverage spots.

Castaño heads back to the minors after allowing one run over 2 1/3 innings during a brief stint with the Rockies over the weekend. The 27-year-old middle reliever was claimed off waivers from the Mariners last month.

It’s an unfortunate setback for Teel as he appeared to be close to making it back to Chicago for his season debut before suffering the injury during a rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte over the weekend. The 24-year-old backstop will be on the shelf until at least early June before he’s potentially an option for the White Sox. It’s quickly turning into a bit of a lost season for Teel, who entered the year as one of the top young catchers in the game. Drew Romo and Edgar Quero will continue handling the catching duties for Chicago in his absence.

It’s challenging to forecast Holliday making a significant fantasy impact right away since he didn’t exactly tear the cover off the ball during his latest rehab stint in the upper minors. The 22-year-old former top prospect experienced several setbacks during his rehabilitation process and has been on the shelf since undergoing surgery to repair a hamate fracture back in spring training. It may take time to shake off the metaphorical cobwebs, but Holliday should be an impactful fantasy contributor at second base this season, but only if he’s finally put the hand issue to bed. He figures to spend some time at both second and third base with the Orioles over the remainder of the year.
