Jordan Lyles allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings on Wednesday in a loss against the White Sox.
Lyles tossed three scoreless innings before the White Sox brought a run in on a single and a double in the fourth. Andrew Vaughn took him deep for a two-run shot with one out in the sixth, and that would it for Lyles at 91 pitches. The 32-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 6.24 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and a 104/41 K/BB ratio across 155 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the White Sox once again in Chicago next week.
