Tyler Anderson allowed two runs (one earned) in five innings and got a no-decision against the Rangers on Saturday.
Anderson gave up one hit, walked two and struck out seven. Wyatt Langford reached on an error to start the fifth inning before Anderson walked Nathaniel Lowe. Both runners came around to score on Ezequiel Duran’s double, which was the only hit Anderson allowed. The win was his 11th of the year. Anderson has a 3.50 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 132 strikeouts in 167 1/3 innings this year. The 34-year-old left-hander is set to face the Astros at home next week.

Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) will throw a four-inning live BP next week.
It doesn’t sound like Woodruff is remotely close to returning yet, but this is another step in the right direction as the Brewers try to get his velocity back in the low-to-mid-90s rather than the 80-mph fastballs that forced him out of his final start in May.
Cubs-Cardinals rivalry leads Sunday Night Baseball
It's a clash of two historic teams and the renewal of a longtime rivalry as Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs hit the road to face Jordan Walker and the St. Louis Cardinals at 7 pm ET on NBC and Peacock.
  • CWS Starting Pitcher #54
White Sox recalled RHP David Sandlin from Triple-A Charlotte.
Sandlin, the major piece the White Sox got for taking on Jordan Hicks’ contract, will be making his major league debut after six starts split between Single-A Winston-Salem and Triple-A Charlotte. He had a 0.55 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings during those outings. The inning count is low enough that we’re not counting on him to go long enough to qualify for wins, but he could be effective out of the gate against the Twins if he can command his stuff.
  • CWS Starting Pitcher #76
White Sox placed LHP Noah Schultz on the 15-day injured list with right knee patellar tendinitis.
Schultz had some promising starts early on, but pitched to a 5.82 ERA in eight starts with 22 walks in 38 2/3 innings. He’d allowed 19 earned runs in his last four starts before being placed on the injured list, so perhaps his knee was bothering him at some point during that stretch. Should he get healthy again, he’ll be back on the monitor list in most leagues.
  • MIL Starting Pitcher #57
Brewers recalled RHP Coleman Crow from Triple-A Nashville.
Crow probably isn’t more than a streaming option at this point, but figures to take Logan Henderson’s spot in the rotation tomorrow against the Cardinals. Crow has a 2.61 ERA in 10 1/3 innings over his two spot starts so far this year, striking out seven.
  • MIL Starting Pitcher #43
Brewers placed RHP Logan Henderson on the 15-day injured list with a lower back strain.
The Brewers estimate that Henderson will return in late June. Tough break for fantasy managers, as Henderson had been rock solid since being called up. He currently boasts a 2.74 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. He’s worth holding in most leagues if you have the injured list spot. Shallow league managers with no injured list spots face a tougher decision.
  • TB Starting Pitcher #65
Rays placed RHP Jesse Scholtens on the 15-day injured list with a right wrist strain.
Scholtens had been more-or-less used as a bulk man this year, with two starts and nine appearances, but 37 2/3 innings pitched. He had a 3.82 ERA and a 5.35 FIP, with 30 strikeouts and 11 walks. Tampa will have to find a new bulk pitcher going forward since they signed Craig Kimbrel to Scholten’s empty 40-man roster spot.
  • TB Relief Pitcher #46
    Rays signed RHP Craig Kimbrel.
It’s a major league contract and Kimbrel will be available to pitch tonight. This move comes with little fantasy value at the moment as Kimbrel has mostly been used as a mop-up reliever for the Mets this year. It’s possible the Rays could squeeze some magic out of him that the Mets couldn’t, though.
  • LAA 1st Baseman #18
Nolan Schanuel (calf) is not in Los Angeles’ starting lineup against the Tigers on Tuesday.
That makes two days in a row Schanuel has sat since leaving with calf tightness on Saturday night. Vaughn Grissom is batting third and playing first base in Schanuel’s absence tonight.
  • NYM Left Fielder #22
Juan Soto is in the Mets’ starting lineup on Tuesday against the Reds.
Soto had missed each of the last two games with an illness. The Mets are batting him third again, behind Bo Bichette and ahead of A.J. Ewing. Activate Soto if you’re in a league with daily transactions.
  • NYM 1st Baseman #39
Mets selected the contract of 1B/OF Eric Wagaman from Triple-A Norfolk.
Wagaman will get his first big-league taste of the 2026 season after hitting .250/.296/.378 with the Marlins in 514 plate appearances in 2025. Wagaman had hit .245/.357/.387 in 31 games with Triple-A Syracuse and St. Paul. He won’t be a major fantasy contributor, but perhaps he’ll give the Mets a decent bat against lefties for the time being.
