Ezequiel Tovar homered and drove in two runs in a loss to the Phillies on Monday.
Tovar ripped a solo homer off Cristopher Sánchez for his second roundtripper of the season, and he added another RBI with a single in the third. He’s picked up hits in seven of his last 10 at-bats, and it’s improved his slash to .270/.310/.450.

Mookie Betts (oblique) is scheduled to take live batting practice on Thursday.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts added that Betts could start a minor league rehab assignment soon, if everything goes well during that session. The 33-year-old fantasy stalwart has been working his way back from an oblique strain that put him on the shelf back in early April.
Hold Skubal in fantasy for now amid elbow surgery
Eric Samulski dissects Tarik Skubal's move to the 15-day IL for an elbow surgery and looks at past examples to explain why he's going to wait a week before making any concrete fantasy decisions.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #17
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed Shohei Ohtani will pitch and hit on Tuesday against the Astros.
Ohtani has been slumping at the dish recently but he’s been phenomenal on the mound of late. The Dodgers have carefully monitored his workload, preventing him from DH-ing while pitching twice in recent weeks. He’ll be a full-go from a two-way standpoint during Wednesday’s start at Daikin Park, which is a nice bonus for fantasy managers.
  • LAD 2nd Baseman #25
Tommy Edman (ankle) is still dealing with residual soreness.
The Dodgers aren’t in a rush to get Edman back from the injured list so they’re going to take their foot off the metaphorical gas pedal and slow down his ramp-up process. The versatile 30-year-old is working his way back from offseason ankle surgery and is unlikely to make his season debut until some point in June.
  • LAD 1st Baseman #8
Enrique Hernández (elbow) will begin a minor league rehab assignment this week at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hernández has been on the shelf since spring training recovering from an elbow issue that bothered him throughout most of last year. The 34-year-old should be ready to make his season debut sometime around mid-to-late May.
  • MIL Left Fielder #22
Christian Yelich (groin) took on-field batting practice on Monday.
Yelich isn’t expected to make it back from a left groin strain until some point in mid-to-late May. However, this qualifies as a significant milestone in his rehabilitation process. The 34-year-old is likely to get a couple minor league contests under his belt before returning to Milwaukee’s lineup sometime around mid-May.
  • CWS Left Fielder #34
White Sox signed OF Randal Grichuk to a one-year, $1.25 million contract.
Grichuk heads to the Windy City shortly after being jettisoned by the Yankees last week. The 34-year-old will replace an injured Austin Hays (calf) on Chicago’s roster. He’ll operate in a lefty-mashing bench role moving forward.
  • CWS Left Fielder #21
White Sox placed OF Austin Hays on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 2, with a left calf strain.
Hays has been snake-bitten by injuries as he heads to the shelf for the second time already this season. The 30-year-old outfielder missed time last month with a hamstring strain. No word yet on the severity of the calf issue, which is likely to keep him out for a couple weeks, even in a best-case scenario.
  • CWS Left Fielder #41
White Sox transferred INF/OF Tanner Murray to the 60-day injured list.
The paperwork move frees up a spot on Chicago’s 40-man roster for Randal Grichuk. Murray is expected to miss 4-6 months after undergoing shoulder surgery last week.
  • CIN 1st Baseman #27
Sal Stewart is at second base for Monday’s series opener against the Cardinals.
Stewart gets the nod at the keystone over Matt McLain for the second time in the last three games. The 22-year-old rookie is up to four appearances there already this season. Stewart gaining some additional positional versatility would be an added bonus for fantasy managers given how well he’s performed already this season.
  • CLE Right Fielder #24
Chase DeLauter is on the bench for Monday’s series opener against the Royals.
It qualifies as a surprise to see DeLauter on the bench against veteran righty Michael Wacha, but he gets a break after six consecutive starts between DH and right field. The 24-year-old rookie went deep for the first time since April 3 during Sunday’s loss to the Athletics.
